You know when something you love becomes something you loathe? When something that was fun, becomes a task? I love you, blog, I really do. But you’re starting to become a chore, and it’s not cool.
So, without sounding dramatic, I’m taking a break from blogging, from product reviews, from giveaways and blogger competitiveness (yes, this really exists). But I’m sure I’ll be back before you know it!
We’ve got kids parties almost every weekend until the end of the year, starting this weekend, I’m a couple of days away from starting my new job (which promises to keep me busy from day 1!) and my boys are getting big, WAY too quickly for my liking.
Luca’s using phrases like “in the mean time” and is asking me to play his favourite song in the car on the way to school … which happens to be a Foster the People track. Really? What happened to Imvubu the Happiest Hippo???
We’ve got an amazing holiday, with our favourite family of Greeks, to prepare for and a home to fill, in the mean time, with the love, laughter and light of our two beautiful boys.
So, that’s what I want to do: I want to play in the garden, read books (for me, as well as the boys!) and snuggle.
